Meet Oliva, a rising senior at Appalachian State University who will join our dynamic team from May through August of this year. Pursuing a major in criminal justice alongside a newfound psychology minor, Oliva's passion for law extends far beyond the realm of law enforcement, challenging common assumptions.

Originally from Chapel Hill, Oliva proudly supports her hometown team, the Tar Heels, and assumes the role of peacemaker among her three siblings.

In her leisure time, Oliva finds solace in physical activities like hitting the gym or going for runs, alongside indulging in her love for music, podcasts, and deepening her faith.

Fascinated by real estate law and the complexities of meeting diverse family needs, Oliva's academic journey has broadened her understanding of law beyond criminal justice. Her accolades include receiving the Step Forward Scholarship Fund and the prestigious top Governor’s scholarship.

Looking towards the future, Oliva plans to jumpstart her legal career as a legal assistant while preparing for law school. Actively engaged in her university’s pre-law fraternity, Kappa Alpha Pi, Oliva cherishes the connections she makes with peers who share her aspirations.
