Notice of Use of Artificial Intelligence
Last updated: 03/27/2025

Munson Law Firm is thrilled about working with you to provide tailored legal services. This is to notify you that, in our efforts to ensure that our services remain ahead of the curve, we use artificial intelligence (“AI”). For a few examples, we might use AI for:

1. Communication
When visiting our website, you might engage with our AI-powered chatbot. We might also use AI to quickly create and proof communications, including but not necessarily limited to website content, blog articles, social media posts, and client correspondence. In the future, we might use AI for other types of communications, including but not necessarily limited to SMS/text messages.
2. Ideation and Project-Management
We might use various AI tools to help us collect and organize information, including but not necessarily limited to identifying issues that might be of interest to our clients, generating task lists for both internal and external projects, and communicating internally about projects and tasks.
3. Fact-Checking and Research
Just as many attorneys throughout the country do, we might subscribe to platforms that compile legal information and resources that are not generally available to the public. We might use these platforms for any number of tasks, including but not necessarily limited to collecting legal information and confirming its accuracy. Recently, many of these platforms have begun incorporating AI capabilities.
4. Document Preparation
Many online platforms or software programs designed for attorneys and law firms might be able to streamline document preparation processes, including but not necessarily limited to generating, proofreading, comparing, and editing drafts. We might use available AI functionalities to accomplish these and similar tasks.
5. Internet Searches
As of late, most search engines (including Bing and Yahoo) have incorporated AI features to assist with common online searches. We might use these features to conduct searches, including but not necessarily limited to searching information that is generally available to the public.
The above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of how we currently use AI or intend to use it in the future. In fact, we are continuing to explore a variety of ways that we might use AI to improve our services!
However, we assure you that our use of AI will comply with our ethics rules (including but not limited to rules concerning client confidentiality) and our standards for protecting client privacy. For example, instead of real names, we might identify a person as “Princess Fiona” or “Han Solo.” Also, we will not input other identifying information, such as an address, date of birth, phone number, or social security number.
Finally, rest assured that we will not use AI as a substitute for legal analysis, decision-making, or other functions that require human involvement and oversight. We do all the heavy lifting!
